The kids loved all the food and of course all the attention they were getting from the family that was here. Natalie kept running around the house with a turkey hat that she made at school saying "I'm the momma turkey and your cooking the baby turkeys, mommy" (I cooked only turkey breasts this year) She thought it was ammusing that we didnt have the traditional looking turkey.
Black Friday was great fun for my mom and I who hit the stores at 8:00 in the morning, not too early and still found some swell deals! Almost done with my shopping for everyone!
I've also been working on Christmas cards that are now ready to send, and some Christmas crafts that I've been wanting to do for awhile, so my next couple weeks I'm hoping to get those all done. Also finished up my annual scrapbook page to swap with the Moore side of the family. All good fun!
We have our tree up and all I can say is holy heck how do I keep the kids out? Sweet William thinks its great and climbs around the back of the tree and sits in the corner! AHHH!! I can't get him out, so yet we have another gate in our house, one going across from one couch to the other so he can't get back there.
So all in all we are just enjoying the holidays, the music and all the lights.. oh yea and all the yummy food!

So very long since I posted! The months have just slipped by! I thought I would jump on and post a couple of quick Halloween pictures. William was an adorable giraffe, and Natty of course was Cinderella! We tried very hard to follow some Moore family tradions by making homemade rootbeer. A desaster in my kids' eyes. William loved it, but wanted to touch it, and put his hands inside of the rootbeer. Natalie was totally freaked out by all the "smoke" and cried most of the time. I'm guessing we wont\'t be trying this again for a few years. All the other kiddos had a good time with it so it was totally worth it, and our kiddos loved drinking the rootbeer! (maybe better off buying it next year..)
On a positive note, Natalie had a fall festival at preschool that I got to go to, so one of the picture is Natalie and I during "circle time" at school! Great fun!
William loved the pumpkin patch! He picked up all the pumpkins he could. He got soem little ones and tried hard to get some big ones, was great fun for us all to pick the pumpkins!

Labor Day weekend we decided to head to South Dakota with Tyson and Kimmy! I never been to South Dakota, was very excited to see a bit more of the world. We stayed in an adorable little cottage that the kids loved! Natalie thought it was wonderful and couldn't wait to invite Kimmy to stay at "her" cottage. We stayed busy visiting many places, starting with the dinosaur park! Cameron and I decided that South Dakota must be very lax in the laws as the hike up the side of the mountain was steep and had no guard rails to keep a little one from falling far down the side. A bit nerve wracking but was fun to take some silly pictures next to the dinosaurs. We also went to an awesome place called Old MacDonald Farm. Was truly the high light of the trip for both kids I think.
They got to pet everything, and I mean everything.
They had pigs that ran races. Baby goats and regular goats, we probably spent an hour with as they were little enough not to scare William and Natalie loved to hold and hug the babies. There were big and even bigger sheep, that I ah... Didn't think were so friendly. As you can see in this picture
that I had a hand full of food for them to give to Natalie and Cameron, who were in the middle of the pen, so I being so smart, put my hand above my head and started walking across the pen, and the sheep jumped on me!! I not being to thrilled with animals anyway was totally freaked out!

William and Natty loved the baby chicks!! I not loving flying things was not to excited to be in a chicken coop, though it was fun to watch the kids play with the baby chicks. Natalie was great to watch as she just grabbed the poor chicks and pet them like it was nothing new. I thought for sure we were going to have about a dozen dead baby chicks by the time we were done. (I'm happy to report none were injured while we were there) Cameron gently reminded me this was a petting farm and these animals are bread to be pet. I turned around and a large incubator of eggs was right there for all the new kids that would come tomorrow. Cameron was letting William pet the chicks when William just grabbed for the poor thing and actually got it, I thought for sure this chick was a goner! William actually grabbed its head and wing in his little fist and was not about to let go, the chick was fine to my surprise!
What would a trip to farm be without a pony ride? Well it just wouldn't be a trip to the farm. Was truly a wonderful memory for me, and one I hope my children will remember! (well at least Natalie)
The other day Natalie was hugging the bottom of Cameron's leg, and she looks up to him and says "daddy I"m a maggot! " I just started busting up, thinking she doesn't even know what a maggot is! I composed myself and we asked her what she was trying to say, and finally she tells us "I'm sticking to daddy like a maggot." We figured out she was trying to say I'm sticking to daddy like a magnet.
The love for the VW Bug in our home is still growing. Out of the blue one day Natty asks us "how many dollars does a Jo Jo Circus car cost?" we told her about 20,000 dollars... And she just stared and said "oh!" and later brings up "when I'm old mommy, I want a Jo Jo Circus car, ok?"
I get all the church email sent from our ward leaders to my account, I sift through them and if they are important I send them on to Cameron. Well last week I got an email from the Elders quorum President for Cameron and it asked him for some map program he has on the computer because the presidency was rearranging the Home Teaching routes so that the families teach other families close to them. So I forward the message to Cameron adding my own message on the top saying.. "Hey babe, just wanted to pass this on to you, and while your talking to the pres. Maybe you should ask him to assign you to people closer to us. Love you... Kerry" (Cameron's previous families all lived out of town about 40 miles) About two minutes later I get another email from the President saying this.." Umm.. Kerry I don't think you meant to send this message to me, but to Cameron... unless of course your getting fresh.. And just so you know I have already changed Cameron Home Teaching families to those in town." I wanted to die! I had sent the message to the Elders quorum president instead of forwarding it to Cameron. Some serious embarrassment for me! Glad the President is a fun man who thought it was funny and was no big deal!! Needless to say I was horrified!!

For a couple of weeks now, William has had some trouble sleeping. Waking up every hour to every couple of hours making everyone extremely tired! Here is a very tired William and Daddy picture.
One night William screamed and screamed, we couldn't get him to settle down. Cameron and Shelby gave sweet William a blessing and usually when he gets a blessing he just moves around trying to get out of the hands. This night he just rested his head in the hands of Cameron and Shelby, it was so sweet and not minutes later he was fast asleep and slept the night through. I'm so glad we have the priesthood in our lives to bless these little ones.

Happy Birthday William!! I can't believe my baby is one years old already, just seems like yesterday since he was such a little baby!!William wasn't shy eating his cake, he loved it!! William played and played all night with his new toys! Its fun to watch a little boy play so differently from a little girl! We now love trucks, trains and anything he can climb on!
With some help from Natalie we decorated the house as now that she knows what a birthday party is we can't leave anything out, from streamers to plates, cups, napkins, balloons, and of course presents! The little lady knows how to throw a party!
Summertime fun is coming to an end!
Here are some fun pictures of Natalie and William having so much fun in the swimming pool! So many hot days, we had the pool out or played in the sprinkler almost everday. We had a blast during Frointier Days this year, we did something everyday! Starting out with a parade and rodeo the first day, Natty thought it was great to watch the cowboys tie the animals up! Pancake breakfast one morning downtown, and off to the airshow we went. The biggest hit of all was riding the school bus from our car to the carnival, though getting prizes at the carnival was great fun too.
And of cource we have this fun picture of a girls night out, my mom, Wendi and I all went to a night show coming home in fashon wearing these rediculous hats! Good fun!

William is walking...almost running!! I had forgotten how much fun it is to watch a little one walk for the first time! William is so proud of himself now that he woddles across the room, turns to look at whoever is around and starts clapping for himself!!
Another fun milestone is that we started teaching William some simple sign language. He is now signing: more, thank-you, and eat!

I went out to lunch with my mom, and then we hit up some stores on the way home. On the way into the one store we decided to switch and go into another. I saw a red Durango and thought oh that looks like our car. Not thinking anything of it, we went on in. We were gone much longer then I had hoped so I called Cameron and asked if we could go to dinner a little later then we had planned, he was happy to do this.
My mom went home and I put the kids down for a late nap, thinking they would sleep for Kimmy and Tyson who were babysitting. Cameron and I went out to dinner, we order our drinks and Cameron tells me that he forgot his wallet at home. I roll my eyes at him and say "well call Tyson he's at our house with Kimmy he'll bring it to us" Cameron got up was gone for awhile and comes back with his wallet, said that it had fallen down in between the seats. I thought oh good he didn't forget it. We eat our dinner, and Cameron just tells me his stomach was sick and he needed to go home. We paid the bill and left quickly! We pull up the front of our house and I see my friend Lynne's van in front our our house and I though she was just returning something to me, no big deal. I then saw my parents car in our driveway, and think "oh what are they doing here, I'll never be able to leave now!" Then we get out of the car and I hear Natalie screaming inside, "my mommy's here, my mommy's here" at the top of lungs! I turned to Cameron and he leans over and says... "Honey I didn't forget my wallet, and I don't have a stomach ache! Happy Birthday!" We walk inside and there are my friends and family all waiting to wish me a happy birthday!
I was totally surprised! Had no idea that any of that was coming! The red Durango that I saw at the store earlier in the day Cameron told me it was him and he was buying party decorations when he saw us heading in to that store he told the cashier that he had to go and then he saw us turn and go into the other store and he so he checked out and left the shopping area. I must say he did a great job decorating! Pink and brown everything! Cameron thought we'd be able to just get drinks and leave the restraunt that's why he told me he forgot his wallet, turns out he had ordered pizza for dinner and it was all waiting for us when we got home! My friends and family ate and left quickly and off I went to the scrapbook store!
I walk into the store toting along all my stuff, the lady looks at me and says "Are you Kerry?" Your the last lady to get here let me show you where your seat is. She takes me back to the work room where everyone busts out singing Happy Birthday, and she hands me 4 dozen roses from Cameron with a card on it saying "sorry I made you late for scrappin" It was so so wonderful! What a happy birthday it was! And for once, I didn't mind being late.

My dear friend Heidi and I went to Ft. Collins for the day to celebrate my birthday and to let the kids play at the indoor play place! We went to our favorite places Old Navy, Olive Garden, its always fun to watch the expressions on peoples faces as we walk through the restraunt with two babies and two toddlers! Peoples faces just scream "please don't let the sit by me" though I'm happy to report our kids were very good!
Natalie had a great time playing figuring out that she can jump from one high toy to the next, she was so proud of her self when she was able go get on the top of the soccer ball! William was fun to watch as he mastered climbing up the downside of a slide!
Was a fun day out for all of us!
Saturday, July 22, 2006
Later in the day we had a family BBQ, after all what's the 4th of July without hamburgers, hotdogs, and watermelon? Was a fun time! To top it all off sweet Kimmy got challenged to play air hockey.
The entire family ended up playing her! (except me, don't know where I was at that time) She beat everyone but Cameron, and I'm totally sure I could have beat her too! BRING IT ON!After the BBQ we were off to the park for some fireworks! Lets just say it started out nice and cool, that we welcomed after a warm day. But as soon as the sun set we were FREEZING! We broke out the winter coats and the big quilts sat back ate popsicles, and watched the fireworks!

Cupboard trouble! If I can ever not find William, I can usually find him in the cupboards! He loves to play pots and pans! He pulls everything out, plays for quite awhile, then leaves his mess for me to clean up. Once I do clean it up both kids are back over to the cupboard clearing it all out onto the floor again! Such fun games we play!

Sprinkler fun in the sun! Our children are having so much fun playing in the water! William shivers and has to catch his breath at first when the cold hose water gets him but then just loves playing right up close to the sprinkler toy! Natalie loves to play water baseball! This cool toy lets the kids put a ball in it, and then it shoots the ball up out of the top and keeps it afloat until they hit it off! A great entertainer for these two kiddos!

A month ago now I was moving in some heavy stones from outside in the yard, which isn't terribly unusual, but still rather heavy. Then, the next day I picked up an air hockey table from a friend that had given it to us, it was rather awkward and heavy as well. They gave it to us in exchange for us taking their sectional down to the basement, from whence the air hockey table came. Anyway, I had lifted some heavy things, that really didn't afford a proper lifting technique. The next day I was hurting pretty bad. I thought to myself, aurgh.... I gave myself a hernia. Being one to rather live with pain then do something about it I figured I'd take it easy for day or two, and let the problem fix itself.
That night was horrible. Not a wink of sleep. I don't know that I've ever been that restless. Finally, six o'clock rolls around. Well, there was something pushing me to do something about it. It takes a lot for me to go see a doctor, and a LOT to see one in the ER (have I ever done that?) Anyway, I was in pain. I told Kerry I needed to get to the ER as I wasn't well. She got her mom to come and watch the kids, and off we went.
We have had some experience when it comes to ER visits. Probably more than we'd care to remember. We've never gotten in quite like this. Straight in, without visiting admissions. Were they bored? I don't know, but I won't complain. What I will complain about, however is coming up =) So I explain to the doctor how I had diagnosed myself with a hernia. "Well, that's quite high for a hernia," the doctor explained. Okay, so I had gone to WebMD already, and my symptoms fit the bill for a hernia, and appendicitis... but who gets that, especially after heavy lifting?
I don't think 10 minutes had gone by, and they were prepping me for IV fluids. Okay, slow down guys, is this really necessary? And then, you want me to drink WHAT? Yeah, well, all of Tyson and Karisa's wonderful experiences with the Barium drink. Let me tell you, if oceanspray ever came out with Cranbarium, they'd go under. Well, come to think of it... it's probably marketable in the hospital... anyway, getting off the subject. So in comes the clown show. I'm not sure what it is, but I always get the "fairy" guy nurses. AURGH! And to top it off, this one was apparently training the new lady, however I was reassured that she was not new, but only switching positions which required her to be retrained. Okay, but when your only words are "ooo... well, that's not exactly how I'd do it," come out of your mouth, I'm thinking... YEAH, switching positions, eh? "She's been here for quite a while," he said. "Yeah, I thought. As a custodian. Lunch lady, maybe." Well, I guess she got me on the IV drip because it starts getting quite blurred from the morphin.
I think it took an excruciating hour to finish that drink. I had but five sips left, and the nurses were gone, "Kerry, go toss this in the sink... PLEASE." Well, of course that didn't happen, as she knew I needed to get better. Oh, I was really hoping. So, I sucked it up, and sucked up the rest. Off I was to the CatScan. Hmmmm... starting to get a bit blurrier here. I remember a nice soothing female computer voice saying, "Deep breath in." Then I'd get conveyered through the round white thing.
Okay, so I'm sure there was a lot more to it, but I'm pretty heavily sedated by now. Back to my room I go.
"Well, it looks like you have appendicitis," the doctor was proud to say. I really think he was proud that I couldn't do a good self diagnosis, and that he was right. So, surgery it was. They scheduled me immediately. Well, I'm not sure it was immediate for Kerry, but it seemed pretty quick for me. They took me to another floor of the hospital and got me to a room. Then, umm... well.... I don't remember. They had to ask a bunch of questions though. "Do you know why you are here?" they'd ask. "Sure, I'm going to have an appendix-oscopy" I replied. Well, I guess that's what they needed to here, as they just laughed. Okay, so it took my brain a few minutes to decide that wasn't right, and the real term was appendechtomy, or something like that. Well, the surgeon lady came in to give me the pep talk. Boy was she reassuring.
"So, we're going to go in there, and if the appendix is fine, it's coming out anyway, and then we'll do a little searching around to see what might be mimicking appendicitis." WHAT? Just because you're in there, doesn't mean you need to just be removing perfectly good things, does it? Anyway, I suppose I didn't have to worry about that, because at the end, she let us know that it really was in bad shape, although it had not ruptured, thank goodness for that.
So now that I was feeling REALLY calmed about having this "maybe it's this, maybe it's not" surgery, the surgeon's phone rang. "No, what breast patient? I'm working on an appendechtomy, I don't know what patient you are referring to." Apparently she does some reconstructive surgery as well, and was double booked or something. There was definitely some confusion somewhere.
I was moved to surgery, but I guess before I left the nurse helped me get my wedding ring off to give to Kerry. Well, someone needs to invent a sterile, expandable wedding ring that is allowed to stay on the finger during surgery. That's just not something that any spouse should every have to go through. Off I went. They asked me a few more silly questions, and wheeled me into the OR. Okay, so I had it firmly in mind that when the surgeon came in, I was going to have her double check her chart so that she made the cut in the correct spot. I didn't want to come out having reconstructed breasts. Well... let me tell you, whatever it is they give you to knock you out... yeah, well, it does a good job. I never say the surgeon enter the room.
I woke up to the nurse sweetly saying it was time to wake up, or something like that. I have no concept of time at this point. Nor do I remember much of the ride back to me room. I do remember JuDean Young coming into the room.
Oh, I forgot the most important part. Prior to surgery, Kerry had called Shelby and Tyson up to give me a blessing. Well, what are two loving brothers that work with you supposed to say in a blessing but, "a speedy recovery," as if they wanted me back at work quickly or something??? I am grateful for them, though. Especially grateful that they are worthy to hold and use the priesthood. Thank you for living right.
So yeah, there you have it. I've got a 3-4 inch scar now in the lower-right side of my abdomen. The fun part was just beginning. I luckily was able to go home the next day, but they give you the wonderful news that you can't lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk, for a month. Hmmm... I think William is a few gallons of milk, and Natalie certainly is more.
Thanks again to the support of Kerry, Shelby and Tyson I've been okay. Shelby had Layne (and the others) come over to walk Thor, so that he could get some service hours, and we could survive. I was able to take the time off needed, as Shelby and Tyson took care of everything at work. Kerry drove me, as I wasn't allowed to drive while on the happy drugs. Not to mention I was pretty sore, and not super mobile. It was a new feeling to me to have absolutely no strength. I'm not Superman or anything, but it sure was something else.
Well, I guess my month is up. I am feeling better. Thanks to all that helped out me an my family. Enough can't be said about how wonderful it is to have supportive family and friends.
Okay, well, there's my story. I hope I haven't bored you all, I certainly have written quite the lengthy explanation. Oh, and I never even mentioned my next "fairy" nurse that I had at night. "We have sandwiches for you when you're ready"... "Okay, I'm ready, can I please have that sandwich now, I asked." Apparently he didn't get the memo. I got a jello, and he turned on my TV to watch Will and Grace?? I mean, come ON!
So, thank you Kerry for stepping up and doing everything I wish I could have done. It's Kerry's birthday today and we had a surprise party... thanks again to all who attended and helped. She's off scrapbooking tonight, so I thought I'd use the time to tell my story, and I've probably over done it. But now Kerry can get back to the keyboard and let you know how life is hopefully getting back to normal (although normal seems to be quite dreadful lately, so perhaps we can create an abnormally new normal.) I would prefer not become Job.

The Crop-A-Dile!! Ladies this is truly the best tool I have ever used! Eyelets have never been set quieter! I'm so excited for the next time I scrap or stamp out of my house, I will only have to take this punch, instead of a hole punch, my hammer and setter! I went to a new scrapbook store in town and the lady was demonstrating this, and all I could think, was no more waking up sleeping kids while I'm crafting! SOLD...TO ME! If you use a lot of eyelets or snaps or even brads, this is the the best yet, and a must try!!

Free Fishing Family Fun Day!So Shelby let us know about Free fishing day Statewide, the other day, and that they were having some activities down at the lake to where they could let you borrow poles and such to go fishing, without a license. After hearing from Shelb what the licenses cost these days, we quickly jumped at the word FREE. We got the park, thinking they may have a pole or two still available for us to use, and to our surprise they were actually giving out entire fishing kits. It came with the pole, a little tackle box, all the hook
s, worms, weights and bobbers that you'd need. Boy oh boy was Natalie tickled pink that we were "fishing, really fishing."Well, I don't know that there is a fish in the entire state that could have swollowed the big purple gummy night crawler Natalie had chosen as our bait, but hey, we were fishing! Not that we would have caught anything anyway, with the shores (of our tiny "lake") lined with loud little kids throwing in their free bait as well. We did enjoy it very much. She continues to ask to go back fishing, now that she has her own pole, so I may have to take her up on it sometime this summer. We'll have to see.
Let this be a lesson to us all, that the only think you're going to see if you leave the gate open at the bottom of the stairs, is the bottom of the little one scurrying his way up those very stairs. William has some sort of radar, that he knows exactly when it is you've left the gate open. Well, luckily this time we were able to catch him. Yes, sad to say, but there has been a time or two that he has actually gotten up the two levels of stairs, and into the bathroom before we've been able to find him. Radar, Nitro-boosters? I don't know what he's got, but he's got a gift, I tell ya!
Circus or the Zoo?So the circus came to town the other day. We had missed the chance a month or so ago to go to the Shrine circus that we usually
attend (because we were sick), and so we thought we'd take a chance and attend. A few weeks or so earlier we had actually received free tickets to this circus, but had ended up throwing them out thinking we probably wouldn't attend. Luckily we were able to find some free Children's tickets at the bread store, so we decided to go, along with Nana and Papa. You know you've gotten the HOOK and BAIT when the children's tickets are free, and you get the ticket counter to buy your own, and they are 20 bucks a piece. Well, luckily some lady in line had some extra BOGO tickets, so we were able to slide through at half off.
Well, I sure am glad that we paid the 20 bucks, because we got a TwoFer. Not only was this a circus, but there was also a petting zoo on the way to the big top. Who'd ever think that llamas and billy goats could be so much fun! Natalie really did enjoy it, as did William. And hey, it's not all that bad when the circus folk are kind enough to bring along a gallon of waterless handsanitizer (magic soap).
We actually did enjoy ourselves. We would have taken pictures inside the Big Top, but it was quickly stated that it was not allowed. They try to make it sound like it is because of the animals, but I soon found out the real reason. The Circus people obviously didn't want any digital proof that they are breaking child-labor laws. My goodness, the main acrobatic attractions could not have been older than 12-year-olds. I'm not sure how legal it is to send a 10 year old flying over the top of three elephants, but hey, it lends for a good night of entertainment! Natalie certainly loved it. Of course she was spoiled with peanuts and a fiber-optic type light-up toy from her Nana and papa.
So the night was over and we were leaving the show. They conveniently located the Port-A-Potty outside the doors of the big top. Had I known that the real show was just about to start, I would have flipped out the camera. There was one stall that apparently the latch just didn't quite catch. The poor kid didn't even know it. Before anyone even had the chance to shut the door for him his pants were halfway down to his knees. He was probably about 12 or so, but from what I saw he could sure pack away the cotton candy. ANYWHO... he must have felt a draft, as he turned around and noticed the door was open. He quickly grabbed for it, and slammed it shut.... OR so he thought. Not 5 seconds later, the poor kid was oblivious to all that was happening, and there he was, pants around his ankles, and everything else exposed for public viewing. I don't know who his savior was, could have been his mom... but thank goodness for the cat-like reflexes of that lady.
All in all it was a good night. We saw a lot things we expected, and then again, a lot of things you wouldn't really expect at a Circus. Well, at least not without paying some sort of extra ticket cost for looking behind the curtain. Natalie did get to end the night off with riding the ponies, which quite surprisingly she loves to do. "Yee Haw!"

Tuesday, May 30, 2006
OH another disheartening part of this is that just this last weekend I used an entire bottle of Clorox and wiped down our entire house! How did they possibly get sick again? I have no idea.
Sunday, May 28, 2006
My favorite part of the night was when I asked Natalie during intermission, "Natty, what has been your favorite part?" She answered... "I loves being withs you mommy" I think at that moment my heart broke into a thousand pieces, and my life will never be the same! What a sweet comment to make! Having children has brightened my life so much!
This was a night I will remember for a long time to come.

I'm looking for some sympathy or somewhere to vent all my feelings ok maybe its both. This could possibly go down in history as the longest week in my life thank goodness its Saturday night! We started the week out on Mothers Day which I was only reminded that being a mom isn't always joyful! I stayed home with William as he had a very upset tummy to say the least. We had taken him to the doctor on Thursday and the doctor told us he had a nasty virus. The doctor wanted me to take him over to the hospital to start IV fluids then, but gave me the choice to take him home and try to get him to keep fluid down and if it wasn't better by 5:00 to take him to the hospital. I took William over to Camerons work so that he could receive a blessing and as soon as we got home he was keeping fluid down. I thought we were well on our way to getting better. We had a great day Saturday, Sunday he started being a bit "lazy" and by dinner time he was throwing up again. On Monday poor William just wanted to be held and was so lethargic, that by 4:00 I was really worried, so I took him into the doctor and they sent us over to the hospital then to start IV's. One of the saddest things I have ever had to endure is watching a little one go through this. Though I thank my lucky stars I have had some experience with Scotty with medical matters that I feel like I handled it all well. Even after a couple of hours of having the IV William was sleeping better, and looked a little better. We slept well that night, as we had a wonderful nurse who was so quiet when she came in that we slept right through it all! (at least most of it)
William and I started Tuesday off very early, about 4:30 changing about 12 diapers throughout the day! YIKES!! The doctor told me he wanted to keep William in the hospital one more day as he was still not "perky" enough to go home, which I agreed.
Wednesday morning, William woke up starving, and so happy! He ate and played all morning while we waited for the doctor to come in, finally around 3:00 we were able to come home. He is doing much better and is his happy little self again.
Cameron had mentioned to me that morning that Natalie (who was being taken care of by Nanny) woke up that morning throwing up! I got home to Natalie who had caught the nasty virus! Just when I though it couldn't get much worse, she couldn't keep a thing down!
Into the doctor we went Thursday morning and he gave her some medicine to help settle her poor tummy, and she slept all day and finally it all settled down.
Friday I had to keep Natty close to the bathroom as the poor girl was still having some issues with her tummy. Thank goodness Emma came into town and was able to watch the kids for a couple hours so that Cameron and I could have a break! We went and watched The DaVinci Code, it was a good/interesting movie, it was so great to get out and not be around the sickies!
We got home and ordered some dinner, and I started feeling a little sick. I stopped eating and what do you know I woke up this morning with "the nasty" I totally didn't think it could get any worse then having two sick kids, one who was in the hospital and one almost there... but its bad when they are better and rearing to go and have a sick mommy! OH my gosh! I have such sympathy for them both!
I think I've done about 15 loads of laundry this week! (no exaggeration) its been rough! Didn't even have time to fold the laundry a lot of the week we were using it as soon as we got it out of the dryer! Someone has got to invent throw away clothes and bedding for when kids are sick!!
We are hoping for a much better week! I think its been almost two months since we have been at church! Hopefully next week we can go!
